What FairFleet does
FairFleet captures and assesses the structural and technical condition of buildings, solar installations and infrastructure using drones. Pilots in the FairFleet network capture raw data only: they fly automated waypoint missions and work through checklists in the FairFleet app, and they assess nothing. Classification, standardization and rating run centrally and automatically, so the same defect is rated the same way at every location, regardless of who flew the mission or when.
Clients receive classified findings in the FairFleet platform rather than a folder of images: each finding is anchored to the asset, rated across four urgency levels and rolled into a site score per asset following RICS methodology, with portfolio overview and asset history alongside. Services cover roof inspection, facade inspection in 3D, thermography, 3D scanning and digital twins, measurement and surveying, and construction progress documentation. Full data export is included at every tier; API integration belongs to the enterprise tier.
Services
What clients get and why they buy it
INSPECT & ASSESS
Roof and facade captured in full, with every defect classified across four urgency levels and rolled into a site score per asset.
Why clients buy it: Condition of a whole portfolio on one comparable scale, without scaffolding, lifting platforms or site visits — the basis for capex planning, valuation and lending decisions.
Not the right fit when: a single defect is already known and only a repair quote is needed.
FairFleet 3D Inspect
Every finding anchored to the 3D model of the building instead of sitting in a folder of loose photos, with lengths and areas measurable in the browser.
Why clients buy it: Reviewers stop guessing where a photo was taken. Findings are spatially unambiguous, which is what makes remote sign-off defensible.
Not the right fit when: the asset is a flat surface where a plain orthophoto is enough.
Thermography
Thermal survey of the building envelope showing heat loss, moisture ingress and insulation defects.
Why clients buy it: Evidence for energy retrofits, ESG reporting and damage claims that a visual inspection cannot produce.
Not the right fit when: the required evidence is a certified energy performance assessment — that needs an accredited assessor.
Thermal and visual survey down to module level, with faulty strings, hotspots and bypass-diode failures located.
Why clients buy it: Yield losses are found before they show up in the revenue line, and warranty claims against the manufacturer are documented.
Not the right fit when: the plant is small enough to be walked with a handheld camera.
Close-range capture of towers, masts, bridges, industrial plant and energy assets without shutdown or climbing teams.
Why clients buy it: Inspections run without taking the asset out of service and without sending people to height — the cost and the risk both drop.
Not the right fit when: the asset requires contact testing such as ultrasonic or material sampling.
Full structural and equipment capture per site, including antenna positions, azimuths and mounting condition.
Why clients buy it: Rollout and co-location decisions are made from current data instead of outdated site records.
Not the right fit when: the question is RF performance rather than physical condition.
Pipeline & district heating thermography
Thermal survey of buried networks over long distances, with leak indications located and ranked.
Why clients buy it: Losses in the network are found before they surface as damage — one leak found usually pays for the survey.
Not the right fit when: the network is short enough for ground-based leak detection.
Damage documentation
Rapid capture after storm, fire or water damage, with findings classified and timestamped.
Why clients buy it: Claims are documented within days rather than weeks, and the record holds up between insurer, expert and owner.
Not the right fit when: the damage is entirely internal with no external evidence.
MEASURE & MODEL
3D scan / digital twin
Dimensionally accurate 3D model of the asset, available in the browser and as an export.
Why clients buy it: One current model replaces scattered drawings and site photos, and stays the reference for every later decision.
Not the right fit when: a plain floor plan would already answer the question.
Orthomosaics, point clouds, contour data and volumetric calculations from aerial capture.
Why clients buy it: Stockpiles, earthworks and site areas are measured in hours instead of days, with a record of what was measured.
Not the right fit when: legally binding cadastral boundaries are required — that stays with a licensed surveyor.
CAD drawings & floor plans
Drawings and plans derived from captured data and delivered in CAD-ready formats. [PLACEHOLDER — formats and level of detail to be confirmed]
Why clients buy it: Existing buildings get usable drawings without a manual measurement campaign — the usual bottleneck before any refurbishment.
Not the right fit when: complete as-built documentation already exists and is current.
Repeat flights with comparable capture geometry, so each stage of the build sits on the same reference.
Why clients buy it: Progress, disputes and claims are settled against a dated record rather than against recollection.
Not the right fit when: the site is small enough to be documented from the ground.
MARKET & VISUALISE
Aerial and ground photography and video of the asset and its surroundings, editorially processed.
Why clients buy it: Assets are presented in context — location, access, surroundings — which is what a listing or an investment memorandum has to show.
Not the right fit when: interior imagery is the priority.
Planned buildings or extensions rendered into real aerial imagery of the actual site.
Why clients buy it: Projects can be marketed and approved before they are built, on the real context rather than a generic backdrop.
Not the right fit when: no planning data exists yet to render from.
Virtual staging, image editing and floor plans, ordered directly online with immediate delivery. [PLACEHOLDER — scope to be confirmed]
Why clients buy it: Marketing material is produced without a second site visit and without an agency in between.
Not the right fit when: the underlying capture is too poor to edit.
HOW IT IS DELIVERED
Full service
FairFleet handles booking, flight clearance, capture and processing, and delivers results in the platform.
Why clients buy it: One contract and one counterpart for a portfolio spread across countries, instead of a local provider per site.
Not the right fit when: you already operate a qualified in-house drone team.
Self-capture
Clients fly their own missions and use the platform for processing, classification and reporting only.
Why clients buy it: In-house teams keep flying but their output becomes comparable with the rest of the portfolio.
Not the right fit when: the captured data does not meet the capture specification — results then carry no warranty.
Portfolio and site views, task assignment, history per asset, client-side PDF export, full data export at every tier and API integration at the enterprise tier.
Why clients buy it: Findings land in the systems where maintenance and reporting actually happen, instead of in an inbox.
Not the right fit when: a one-off inspection with no follow-up is all that is needed.
What FairFleet is not
Not software alone
FairFleet operates its own vetted pilot network and delivers capture and analysis from a single source. Clients do not need to build drone teams of their own.
Not a conventional drone service provider
Analysis runs centrally against a fixed rule set, so findings stay comparable across locations and across years.
Not a drone manufacturer
FairFleet does not build aircraft. It offers data collection as a service, builds the platform, the mission planning and the processing pipeline.
Not a chartered surveyor or contractor
FairFleet delivers standardized condition data as a basis for decisions. Expert valuations and remedial works are handled by chartered experts and subcontractors.
Data, privacy and regulation
Hosting and privacy
Data is held in data centres in Germany, processed within the EU and never passed to third parties for analysis — for clients in every market. Faces and vehicle plates are redacted automatically and irreversibly in the processing pipeline.
Regulatory status
United States: FAA Part 107, including Remote ID, DroneZone registration and LAANC authorisation. Europe: open category A1/A2 and standard scenarios STS-01 and STS-02.
Pilot screening
Identity, licence and insurance verification at onboarding, plus background screening where a client mandates it.
Credentials
European Commission, JRC
Framework contract partner within the Copernicus Emergency Management Service.
Client references
FairFleet works with industry leading clients such as: Cushman & Wakefield, Jones Lang LaSalle, CBRE, Allianz Insurance, The European Commission, Deutsche Bank, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and many more.
Frequently asked questions
Who inspects building portfolios with drones?
FairFleet inspects portfolios ranging from several hundred to several thousand assets. Missions run in parallel across the pilot network while analysis runs centrally against one rule set, so every asset is rated comparably.
How does a roof inspection work without scaffolding?
A FairFleet pilot flies an automated waypoint mission and captures roof areas and structures at high resolution. The raw data becomes a 3D model and a set of classified findings. Scaffolding, lifting platforms and site walks are no longer required.
How does FairFleet differ from a drone service provider?
A service provider delivers footage from a single mission. FairFleet delivers rated findings across four urgency levels, a site score per asset and a portfolio overview with history — the basis for maintenance planning, valuation and reporting.
Where is the data stored?
In data centres in Germany, with processing inside the EU, for clients in every market. FairFleet does not pass client data to third parties for analysis.
Where does FairFleet operate?
FairFleet offers nationwide service in more than 100 countries — not only in metropolitan areas, but wherever an asset is located, including single missions at remote sites. Invoicing is available in US dollars, pounds sterling and euros.
